We have the most advanced fuel production equipment available. We have build it yourself plans or complete units ready to go. You can make your own fuel with a completely new generation of ethanol, biodiesel and gasification (producer gas) technology. With our home units you can make up to 5 gallons per hour of ethanol fuel, 80 gallons per day of biodiesel and continuous producer gas. Make Biodiesel

Biodiesel: refers to a non-petroleum-based diesel fuel consisting of short chain alkyl (methyl or ethyl) esters.

Made by transesterification of vegetable oils or animal fats, which can be used (alone, or blended with conventional petrodiesel) in unmodified diesel-engine vehicles.

Biodiesel is distinguished from the straight vegetable oil (SVO) (aka "waste vegetable oil", "WVO", "unwashed biodiesel", "pure plant oil", "PPO") used (alone, or blended) as fuels in some converted diesel vehicles.

Your diesel engine will run better and last longer on your home-made fuel, and it's much cleaner and better for the environment and your health.

When you make it from used cooking oil it's not only cheap but you'll be recycling a problem waste product.

Capability

The Safe 80 Modular Biodiesel Processing Unit will process 80 gallons of waste or virgin vegetable oil into biodiesel every 12 hours. Actual biodiesel yields will depend on the condition of oil feedstock. Most virgin oils will yield at over 95%, and low free fatty acid (FFA) waste oils will provide yields of 80% to over 90%.

Each Unit is sold and delivered fully assembled and ready to begin making biodiesel. The lower the free fatty acid (FFA) in any oil, the shorter the duration times for settling and washing.

    Operation

  • -The Safe 80 is designed to work on either virgin or waste vegetable oil. The time needed to make an entire batch is about 12 hours.
  • -When using waste oil you must perform a titration test on a sample. Titration test kits are also available from our company. The titration determines the amount of base catalyst necessary for a proper reaction in any batch of oil.
  • -The Safe 80 has a frame mounted chemical mixing tank and reaction unit. Alcohol/catalyst solutions are automatically mixed into solution prior to combining the solution with the vegetable oil in the reaction tank.
  • -The next step is the actual transesterfication step. Transesterfication causes the vegetable oil to separate into biodiesel and glycerin.
  • -After transesterfication, the glycerin separation and draining is completed and the biodiesel is then washed with water through the provided water wash system. Once the water wash is complete, you are ready to use the fuel in any diesel engine.

Creating ASTM certified fuel can be accomplished with this same unit at a rate of 1200 gallons every 24 hours. Actual biodiesel yields will depend on the condition of oil feedstock. Most virgin oils will yield at over 95%, and low free fatty acid (FFA) waste oils will provide yields of 80% to over 90%.
